Obviously, there is plenty of places where to go to eat and we keep finding new spots every week. Obviously, we cannot eat every day in several different restaurants as we also run on a budget, but we will be adding new places in different blog posts so that you guys know exactly where to go, once in the neighbourhood. I have to say that nothing can kill your holiday or simply a lovely day, when you either have to wait for your food, pay too much for something average or get to eat something, that has nothing common with an enjoyable taste.
Prague is literally filled with cafes and restaurants and each month there are new openings. We don´t take you to instagramable places, but there, where you can enjoy yourself and eat within the value of it.
Let´s get into it.
Pochopitelně existuje spousta míst, kam si zajít na jídlo a my rádi zkoušíme nová místa vždy, když někam vyrazíme. Samozřejmě nemůžeme jíst každý den v několika různých restauracích, protože ehm rozpočet, ale plánujeme přidávát nová místa do našich článků. Když najdeme něco zajímavého, ale i špatného, chceme vám o tom říct, abyste do příště věděli, kam stoprocentně vyrazit a jakému podniku se raději vyhnout.
Praha je doslova plná kaváren a restaurací a každý měsíc se otevírají další.
We´ve walked around this cafe like a hundred times. Each occasion we were like we have to come here one day or i would like to try it, and we never did, until now. It had to be my birthday so we could go. The spot is not really the best one as it is within a building, but the interior caught my eye and well, obviously the raw or vegan part of it all. We came here for breakfast, having chocolate pancakes with blueberries and chai latte. Very nice to taste. I would personally be able to eat like two portions.
Kolem téhle kavárny jsme prošli snad stokrát a vždy jsme si říkali, že se sem musíme jednou vydat. Díky tomu, že jsem měla narozeniny, tak jsme si sem konečně došli na snídani. Místo není opravdu nejlepší, protože je v budově, tedy shované a bez denního světla, ale interiér je velmi příjemný.
Z menu jsme si vybrali čokoládové palačinky s borůvkami a chai latte. Výborné, vlastně bych si to dala klidně dvakrát.
Now you probably walked some distance, saw some things and your belly started growling again. Don´t worry, we got you covered. If you feel some Asian meal that´s it. This sort of fast-food restaurant or rather a buffet is my type of thing. I am really bad at deciding and hate too many options. I won´t lie if i say, that this place got me right after i entered. Loved the plain interior, not too many furniture, styles and so on. I immediately knew what they offer and what i can expect and that is what i need. You choose your base, you choose your meat/veggies, you choose your extras and sauce and then just wait (and not long). Say you are vegan and they help you to choose. So far we visited three times already and planning to come back again.
Pravděpodobně jste prošli už pěkný kus Prahy a je čas na oběd. Pokud máte rádi asijskou kuchyni, pak pro vás máme asijské puzzle. Wokin totiž nabízí možnost poskládat si nudle dle vaší chutí. Vyberete si jaké chcete maso, jakou chcete zeleninu i omáčku. Koncept je super jednoduchý, prostě přijdete a ihned víte co máte dělat a z čeho si můžete vybrat.
Mají tu i pár stolečků, ale během oběda počítejte s tím, že si vezmete krabičku s sebou.
If there is ever somebody to ask us, what is our favourite restaurant, we both immediately say this Mexican restaurant Agave. We found it by an accident one day when just walking by with the "Hm, i am pretty hungry, let´s go here." we left two hours later happy, full and with plans on coming back. We always get our favourite table, we always order fried avocado (we are avocado addicts - sue us for that!) and we always have one of their yummy cocktails. People here are kind, able to help and suggest, the interior is cosy and dimmed with seating spots on a nice bar if you want to pop for only a glass of drink.
Pokud se nás někdo zeptá, jaká je naše oblíbená restaurace, oba okamžitě řekneme tuto mexickou restauraci Agave u Staroměstského náměstí. Jednoho dne jsme tuto restauraci našli naprostou náhodou, když jsme právě procházeli s "Hm, mám docela hlad, co table restaurace, tak jdem." O dvě hodiny později jsme odešli šťastní, plní a s plány na návrat. Vždy když se vrátíme, tak dostaneme svůj oblíbený stůl, objednáme si smažené avokádo jako předkrm a doplníme ho jedním z úžasných koktejlů. Lidé zde jsou laskaví, schopní pomoci a poradit s výběrem. Interiér je útulný a tlumenými světly a místečky k sezení na pěkném baru, pokud chcete přijít jen na skleničku.
